New Beginnings with Violet
It’s a chilly January so far here in Southern Wisconsin. Violet and I are sticking with our intention of getting outside for healthy walks and sunshine as much as we possibly can! If we’re like most of you, we’re happy to have spent the holidays with some friends and family and we’re honestly just as happy to have put the tree and decorations away. We are diving into cleaning and organizing for a fantastic start to 2022!
Once we clean up the tinsel, many of us shift our focus to our interiors and what’s working and what’s potentially not working to both problem solve for our clients—and listen and understand your vision for your home.
We approach this from a starting point of offering good, better, and best product solutions to fit both budget requirements and aesthetic enhancements. We know that establishing expectations at the outset is imperative to both a fun experience for us as a client/design firm collaboration, and as the baseline for a superb result.
We are introducing a broad range of packages this year to meet all aspects of your design needs, whether it’s to provide an exploratory service to provide selections and budget parameters from any range to assisting with material/finish selections, space plans and furniture selections to complete a new construction project. Our firm offers both and everything in between to suit your needs.
In the good/better/best context, let’s talk about one space as an example. Violet and I tend to spend a lot of our winter curled up in front of our cozy fireplace in our living room.

Better: New lamps, throw pillows, area rug, fireplace refresh, reupholster existing furniture, replace some existing furniture, paint color, as well as artwork and accessories.
Best: Include all the above and replace all furnishings as well as light fixtures and potential wall finishes
